REM SYSTEMS Veterinary Website Launched

We are very excited to announce the launch of the REM SYSTEM Veterinary website. After many months of hard work, dedication and collaboration with our internal teams and the web developer, we are extremely delighted to officially announce that Phase 1 of the very first branded website developed on the Drupal CMS platform has just been launched. Phase 2 for this site will include an online product catalogue and resources via a secure portal.

Development on the REM SYSTEMS Veterinary website has been a huge team effort including Marketing team, the Veterinary sales team, and the web developer New Path Web. A huge shout out to Karla Tate for all her work on this one. We hope you like it!

Multi-Site Management with Drupal

For those of you who may want to know, the new website development for the Paragon Care website and the new and proposed branded websites are built using the Drupal CMS (Content Management System) open source platform. This allows a single solution to manage multiple sites.

As these new Brand websites are created as what is referred to as a ‘child’ site to the Paragon Care ‘parent’ website, it actually made sense to release a new developed website, as opposed to an update or redesigned website. This was to be our first ‘test’ case, where we could make sure that all the elements worked as expected, and we are happy to report that they do.

Updating Our Brands Websites

Where we are updating websites by replacement with a completely new design and platform, this process is a lot more involved with regards decommissioning the old site, archiving, retiring or updating hard copy assets, and ensuring there are redirects are in place (forwarding one URL [Uniform Resource Locator, or web address] to a different URL) to preserve search engine rankings.
